How to Update Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 with the Latest Patch
If you are using Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 or AutoCAD LT 2019, you may want to update your software with the latest patch released by Autodesk. The 2019.1.2 update fixes several defects and improves some features of the software. It also contains a security update that must be installed by October 17th, 2018, in order to maintain access to some online services.
In this article, we will show you how to update your Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 with the latest patch using two methods: from Autodesk Account or from the Autodesk desktop app.
Update from Autodesk Account
This method shows you all available updates for all your Autodesk products. You can also download prioritized updates for one product by finding it under All Products and Services and clicking View Details.
Sign in to your account at manage.autodesk.com.
In the Products and Services > Product Updates page, select a Release date. Updates released within the time specified are listed.
To limit the number of items that display in the list, enter a Search term. Updates with matching names are listed.
Find the update you want and click Download. You can also select multiple updates and click Download.
Double-click on the downloaded EXE file and click Install to extract the AutoCAD language pack files.
The language pack installer will start after the extraction is completed.
Update from the Autodesk desktop app (Windows only)
The desktop app keeps you informed of product updates, new releases, and new features as they become available. You can review and install the updates you want from the app.
Open the Autodesk desktop app from the system tray or the Start menu.
Click My Updates to see the available updates for your products.
Select and install the updates you want.
